Jenkins-Lara Consulting offers training in different areas of finance, accounting, and logistics to individuals and groups of corporate employees. Our firm is actively involved in the development of training materials, software programs, and educational products in these fields. We can also prepare a training program that will adjust to your firm’s policies and to your employees’ schedule. We are currently able to offer our corporate training in Spanish or in English, in a classroom or on-site, and with the option of computer-based training. JLC can also provide assessments of current corporate and logistics management training programs.

Financial Training

The founder of our corporate training group started specialized instruction for corporate and banking employees in the areas of Corporate Finance, International Business, and Financial Accounting in 1982. He conducted research in different areas and tropicalized financial techniques used in developed nations to operate in the economies of Latin American nations.

Mr. Jenkins-Lara developed the well-known Course in Finance, a modular training program in finance for banking employees offered by the Panama Banking Association since 1983. Our in-house 200-hour version of this course covered financial accounting, financial math and statistics, working capital management, financial planning and budgeting, capital budgeting, and specialized non-commercial bank financial services, such as trust management, investment banking, and tax planning support services.

Jenkins-Lara Consulting will leverage the experience of its founder to continue its quality training program. JLC instructors are experienced professionals in their respective fields with degrees from top universities and its class offerings include specialized training in Anti-Money Laundering Measures, OFAC Compliance, Financial Analysis, Financial Modeling, Mark-to-Market, Asset Management, Risk Analysis, Quantitative Tools for Managers, and Corporate Bankruptcy, among others.

Logistics Training

Jenkins-Lara Consulting held the U.S. Army South logistics training contract, providing classroom, computer-based training (CBT), and certification training to military personnel and civilians assigned to the U.S. Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM) area of operations. The training encompassed automated logistics, maintenance management, small arms, unit armorer safety and operations, inventory management, property accountability, maintenance readiness, and range operations.

JLC was also responsible for more than 40 two-week training programs per year, given to overseas rotations of U.S. National Guard troops from around the United states. The hands-on training included warehouse operations using the latest military integrated logistics software, as well as portable and stationary hardware –all in a multi-level state-of-the-art supply chain management configuration.

JLC successfully trained English and Spanish-speaking adults in the use of several military supply chain applications and warehouse procedures. We understand the issues affecting cross-cultural and bilingual training, as well as hands-on, CBT, or classroom training
