Our logistics group was incorporated to JLC with the acquisition of Innovative Logistics (INNOLOG), a DOD contractor providing logistics support services to private and government throughout Latin America since 1992.

Corporate

INNOLOG structured and negotiated the 3PL (third-party logistics) contract that allowed Pan-American Distributors (PANAMDIS) to become the sole distributor of Samsung Electronics repair parts in Panama. PANAMDIS also provided maintenance management and services for warranties involving Samsung equipment.

INNOLOG provided logistics support to Shell Oil in matters dealing with its communications between its retail stores and company headquarters in Panama. This support was instrumental in Shell’s divesture of its corporate-owned stations.

Military

From 1992 to 1999, INNOLOG provided training, inventory management, and logistics support services to the U.S. Department of Defense throughout Latin America. INNOLOG held the contract for the operation of the data center at the U.S. Army Theater Equipment and Maintenance Site (TEAMS), at its peak the largest U.S. military logistics facility in Latin America.

TEAMS provided support to all military exercises and humanitarian relief efforts throughout the region. INNOLOG was responsible for the operation and upkeep of several logistics Standard Army Management Information Systems (STAMIS), including the ULLS-G, SAMS-1, ILAP, and SARSS-1. Under a different contract, INNOLOG provided logistics support in the upkeep of the engineering equipment maintained in this military foreign operating location (FOL).

The firm was also a subcontractor providing logistics technical support and 24/7 help-desk services under the U.S. Army South Combat Service Support Automation Management Office (CSSAMO) contract. This contract covered technical and functional support for systems in the areas of material, maintenance, and ammunitions management, as well as property accountability at different levels of the supply chain.
